Protein production!
Here ya go! The insoluble fractions (from our expression vector prep) from two different versions of the same protein. In the first picture, the protein being produced is very prominent. On the second picture, look towards the right side of the gel and you’ll see a more intense band present. Awesome!

The week ahead
Last week was a blur, most of it spent on a copepod proposal (the bug of few posts below). This coming week is sure to be actioned packed. We should see some LPS results and maybe on to another oyster exposure Tuesday. That is if we can find some exposurers and some exposerees (hence the tide chart). Tushara has a big week with a presentation on Wednesday. Tuesday will be another practice run....
