Spirilla– spiral-shaped with external flagella.

Spirochaetes– spiral-shaped with internal flagella, gives them a boring action; ex: Treponema pallidum (Syphilis).

Vibrio– comma-shaped bacteria; ex: Vibrio cholerae.
