Claire’s goals for October
I am starting to get acquainted with the lab and all of our online resources that are available. My primary goal for this month is to successfully extract oyster DNA (my first extraction failed since I had too much starting material) and to submit this for sequencing. I am hoping to have my data back in time for the NSA conference in February, and am planning on learning the logistics of galaxy and other epigenome data analysis tools. My goals for the month are to also excel in the classes I’m taking this quarter.
